About WhoDunnit
WhoDunnit quickly established a reputation for "Mystery Theater with a Difference.""We do real mysteries, with clues and carefully crafted story lines," says Louisville Executive Producer Niles Welch. And there is an amazing wealth of talent in this group. From the rollicking humor in The Case of the Smokin' Gunn to the fascination of A Well-Timed Murder and the Dr. MacCrimmon mysteries which are rapidly becoming cult classics, the team of actors, directors and musicians always make it a wonderful production, and full of surprises. "WhoDunnit likes to give audiences a wide variety of entertainment," says Welch. Offerings have included ghost stories, lively holiday musicals, a new Mystery Cabaret, courtroom dramas, comedies, costumed extravaganzas set in the 1920s and 1930s, and Ye Olde Murder Mysterie, a truly unique tale set in the year 1007, when mystical Druids reigned and people still believed in magic. "We like to keep people guessing," he says, and WhoDunnit shows will do that. WhoDunnit is a non-profit, donation-supported organization for the performing arts. Presenting original, interactive murder
mysteries to delight and entertain! Public shows are at Masterson's in the beautiful, historic section of Old Louisville. Doors open at 6:30; show starts at 7:00. Price includes dinner, show, tax and gratuity. A cash bar is available. Ample free parking. WhoDunnit shows are original, lively and thoroughly entertaining, as well as a mystery lover's dream! Clues are cleverly included in the scripted action, and in between scenes (as the audience enjoys a fine meal) the actors mingle with the audience in character, allowing guests to ask questions and get more clues. If you ask them if they are the killer, they will all say no, but that is the only time they are permitted to lie. To all other questions, they must either evade the question or tell you the truth. Audiences love interacting with the characters and trying to figure out who dunnit! _____ The Kentucky Arts Council, the state arts agency, supports WhoDunnit Murder Mystery Theater with state tax dollars and federal funding from the National Endowment for the Arts.
