To meet our many commitments this holiday season, we knew that Murder on 34th St. would have to be double-cast. But that presented a major problem. Dr. Angus MacCrimmon, WhoDunnit's master detective, makes a special guest appearance in this show, a role played in Louisville exclusively by actor Frank Whitaker since the Dr. MacCrimmon series launched in 2005 with Murder by the Sea: The Dark Veil Mystery. The good doctor has a lengthy history that's well known to WhoDunnit fans, a long-standing mystery of his own (regarding the disappearance of his wife in the shipwreck of the Morgen Faire), and knowledge of his previous mystery cases. Is there anyone else who knows all that and could play the role???

Well, as Noel Frost shouts triumphantly in Murder on 34th St., there's one! Actor John Los was the first person to play Dr. MacCrimmon, and performed the role throughout its highly successful five-year run in New England. John is already familiar to Louisville WhoDunnit fans, who have seen his picture in the Dr. MacCrimmon books and program inserts. So, WhoDunnit KY extended an invitation to WhoDunnit New England's Dr. MacCrimmon, and John accepted, joining the Louisville cast for this fabulous holiday special!
