Why sponsor a show?
If you've read the program of
any theater group, you probably know that ticket
sales cover only a small portion of the funds
needed to operate. Like most theater groups,
we rely on corporate and individual contributions
for our support. However, unlike many of them,
we aren't going to nag you as you leave the
theatre or phone you at dinnertime,
asking for your pledge. We're hoping that,
because of the good work that we do, you'll want to support
our efforts.
What are the benefits for you?
WhoDunnit
is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation for
the performing arts. Your donations are
tax-deductible to the extent permitted
by law. In addition, the names of
our donors ($20 contribution
and up) appear on all of our printed programs. Names
of sponsors ($500 contribution and up)
are also displayed on the home page of
our web site. Sponsors of individual shows,
as well as season sponsors, are announced
at the beginning and end of each performance,
and a sign is displayed at each show.
What are the benefits for WhoDunnit?
With your help,
we can continue to create the unique, thoroughly
original mysteries that have become so
popular with Louisville audiences, and that
continue to intrigue and delight! Our operating
expenses are daunting -- costumes, props,
sets, historical research, staff to manage
your reservations efficiently, phone and
Internet resources, sound and lighting equipment,
road crew and techicians ... so much goes
into making a quality production. Your
contribution keeps what's happening behind
the scene running smoothly, so that we can
keep the magic happening on stage!
What are the benefits for the community?
We believe
in mystery theater as an art form, and
we try to reflect that by providing the
finest in mystery entertainment. In addition
to our performances at venues such
as Masterson's and the Hyatt, we also perform
at schools, charity functions and social-service
organizations, many of which have limited
funds. Your
contribution helps to subsidize these.
We also welcome first-timers
(adults with talent and initiative but
limited stage experience) and students
as young as 16 to our auditions, providing
training and guidance. WhoDunnit has given
many now-successful performers and directors
their first professional role.
How much is a contribution?
Any amount is welcome! Contributions
of $20 and up are listed in the program.
Sponsorship of an individual performance
(you can pick which one) is $500. Sponsorship of a
production (the entire run of a show, which
is usually seven to nine weeks) is $2500.
Sponsorship of an entire year (four full
productions, running seven to nine weeks
each) is $5000.
You can also
help out by purchasing a season ticket by
December of each year.
How can you contribute?
It's easy! Just mail a check,
made out to WhoDunnit, to 2907 Carlingford
Drive, Louisville, KY 40222, or phone
us at (502) 426-7100 to make a donation
by credit card.
You can also make a contribution at
the host's table at any WhoDunnit show,
and give us the chance to say hi and
thank you personally. It's no mystery
that our success depends on you.
Thank you!

Presenting original, interactive murder
mysteries to delight and entertain!
Shows are at Masterson's in the beautiful, historic section
of Old Louisville. Doors
open at 6:30; show starts at 7:00. Price includes dinner,
show, tax and gratuity. A cash bar is available. Ample
free parking.
WhoDunnit shows are original, lively and thoroughly entertaining, as
well as a mystery lover's dream! Clues are cleverly included in the scripted
action, and in between scenes (as the audience enjoys a fine meal) the
actors mingle with the audience in character, allowing guests to ask
questions and get more clues.
If you ask them if they are the killer, they will all say no, but that
is the only time they are permitted to lie. To all other questions, they
must either evade the question or tell you the truth. Audiences love
interacting with the characters and trying to figure out who dunnit!
