WhoDunnit Murder Mystery Theater is now casting for the world premiere of our newest Halloween show, Death of a Lifetime, opening October 2026.

Public Auditions for Death of a Lifetime

WHEN: Saturday, April 11 from 2:00–3:00 P.M. (Walk-in welcome, no appointment necessary)

WHERE: The St. Matthews branch of the Louisville Free Public Library (3940 Grandview Ave, Louisville, KY 40207)

AVAILABLE ROLES:
    • Four women, age 20s–30s
    • Four men, age 20s–30s
    • One man, age flexible (18+), requires theatrical makeup *
    • Two women, age flexible (18+), requires theatrical makeup *
    • Several behind-the-scenes opportunities:
      • Audio operators
      • Check-in hosts
      • Roadies

* Please let us know if you have any experience with and/or sensitivities to SFX makeup.

No experience required!

ABOUT THE SHOW:

The premise? A young woman finds herself on a game show in the afterlife after being murdered at a Halloween party. The goal? To solve her own murder. The prize? The ultimate death retirement package, the death of a lifetime!

This show is single-cast with Alternates (understudies) who are guaranteed at least one performance (if desired).

Rehearsals:

Twice per week, on Sundays 2–4 P.M. and Wednesdays, 6:30–8:30 P.M. beginning August 23, at a private residence near Norton Commons.

Performances:

Saturdays, October 3–24, plus Friday, October 23, at the Bristol Bar & Grille Downtown, plus potential additional private performances (dates and locations T.B.D.). Call time is usually between 5–5:30 P.M.

WHY JOIN US:

WhoDunnit shows offer a light memorization load and schedule in a warm and welcoming environment with a friendly, supportive team! We are a professional theatre group, and while we can’t afford to pay Hollywood rates (as much as we’d love to!), this is a paid opportunity.
