Reservations

Yes — advance, pre-paid reservations are required. Last-minute booking may be accommodated on a case-by-case basis: please call to inquire.

You can reserve online (preferred) or by phone. When you make your reservation, please let us know if you have any special requirements (e.g., wheelchair access or dietary concerns). Please also let us know if you are joining a party reserved under another name, and if you are celebrating anything (for example, a birthday or anniversary).

Large parties (15+) cannot reserve online and must call for availability.

Need more info? Just call: (502) 888-0050.

Online ticket sales usually close the evening before a performance. If you are trying to reserve closer to show time, please call us at (502) 888-0050: we are happy to accommodate late reservations when possible.

Ideally, we recommend that you make reservations at least two weeks in advance, as shows tend to sell out — and for large groups, the sooner the better. A deposit may be required for groups of 10 or more.

Shows fill up quickly: it’s always best to reserve early, and to have backup choices for performance dates.

If you need tickets for a particular night and a show is sold out, please call us at (502) 888-0050 and request to be put on a waiting list. We will notify you by phone if tickets become available. Please keep an eye on your phone! If we are unable to reach you, the opportunity will pass to the next person on the waiting list.

Usually, seating is assigned on a first-reserved first-served basis, although it may depend on the type of ticket you purchased. Some tables are set aside for season ticket holders, who can generally pick their preferred seats.

Standard ticket holders are seated at a private table with other members of their party. Large groups are seated together at one large table whenever possible, or else at smaller tables located close together.

If you want a table in a specific area and/or with a premium view, it’s best to reserve as early as possible!

Not to worry! Booking your tickets on our website using our Zeffy ticketing service is simple and straightforward.

If you’re stuck, please first make sure you’ve completed all mandatory fields, indicated with an asterisk (*). There’s more guidance at the bottom of our Ticketing page. You can also review our handy video guide here:

Ticket Sales

That depends on the type of ticket you purchase. The current standard ticket price for dinner shows is $62 per person, all-inclusive.

Discounts are available for early birds and parties of 6 or more. Season ticket holders receive a 9% discount!

In addition to our standard tickets and season tickets, WhoDunnit has recently introduced new, discounted tickets for early bird reservations and larger parties. You can learn more about these discounts on our Ticketing page.

The ticket prices we display are all-inclusive*, meaning the price you see is the total you pay, whether you choose to purchase tickets online or by phone.

All of our ticket prices include our show, a three-course dinner (with coffee, tea, soda, or water), taxes, fees, and 18% gratuity for your server. You are welcome to leave additional gratuity for excellent service.

Tips or donations to WhoDunnit are also welcome, and greatly appreciated! These are not included in the cost of your ticket. You can donate in person at the show, or anytime by clicking here.

* NOTE: Additional purchases such as alcoholic beverages and appetizers are NOT included, but may be ordered separately from your server at cost. Parking is also not included, although free street parking is available near the Bristol.

No. There are no additional fees to book online, nor any benefit to booking over the phone.

All of our reservations are made online, directly from the show’s informational page. Please visit our Coming Attractions page for a list of our upcoming shows.

If you call us to book your ticket, we will still be entering the information into the online form for you. We strongly recommend that you make the reservations online yourself so that you can make sure everything is exactly the way you want it!

Ticket sales for WhoDunnit shows usually open at least one month in advance of the first performance.

WhoDunnit insiders are always the first to know when ticket sales go live! Just e-mail us at info@whodunnitky.com to be added to our mailing list.

Just as with all other live theatres, your WhoDunnit reservation purchases should be considered final and generally nonrefundable.

However, depending on availability, we will try to accommodate requests to change your tickets to another performance date. Such requests must be made by noon (12 PM) two calendar days before the show for which your tickets are currently valid or the show you’d now like to attend (whichever comes first).

Because we sometimes have sold-out shows, if there is a waiting list for the night of your original reservation, we may also be able to re-sell your reservations at your request. If we are able to do so, any outstanding ticket purchases will be refunded.* Please be aware, however, that such a request is final: you won’t be able to reclaim your tickets for that night.

* Only the ticket price will be refunded. Any additional donations made at the time of purchase may not be refunded.

Yes! You can purchase gift certificates online here, or by calling us at (502) 888-0050.

Gift certificates are sold by the ticket, which are $62 each*. You can purchase as many as you’d like! They are good for standard admission (with private table seating) to any public performance of any of our four regular season shows at either Bristol location. Each ticket includes the show, three-course dinner, tax, fees, and gratuity.

A printed gift certificate will be mailed to the address you indicate for you or your recipient.

* Discounts do not apply to gift certificate purchases.

The Show

There are no requirements, but we recommend business casual.

Most are over by about 9:15 p.m.

The doors open at 6:30 (unless otherwise indicated). Beginning at 7:00 p.m., the mystery is presented in three or four acts, with the three courses of your meal (salad, main course, dessert) served in between the acts (for example: salad, Scene 1, main course, Scene 2, etc.).

While you’re eating, the actors in character will mingle with the audience, allowing you to ask them questions and get extra clues. However, all of our mysteries can be solved with the clues presented in the staged portion alone.

WhoDunnit prides itself on being able to offer top-quality mystery entertainment without resorting to the type of off-color and risqué programming that passes for murder mysteries elsewhere. Our shows are generally in the range of PG-13, and your children are welcome.

However, murder itself is an “adult” topic, and adult motivations are involved. It would be unrealistic to portray a murder with language and behavior only used by the nicest of people. Parents are advised to consider that, along with your child’s attention span.

In general, if you are comfortable with letting your children watch prime-time TV shows such as Law & Order and Mystery!, then you should have no qualms about bringing them to WhoDunnit.

Sure. As Noe the Butler says in WhoDunnit’s The Twelve Murders of Christmas, “No crime is perfect, and what goes around comes around.” Killers make mistakes, and our killers generally slip up by revealing something that only the killer could know. Watch and listen for that. Also watch out for visual clues, and for one alibi that isn’t quite as good as the others.

And here’s another hint, off the record: If you honestly don’t have a clue who dunnit, write a funny answer on your solution card. There’s a prize for the most creative answer as well as the most completely correct one.

The Meal

All of our ticket prices include a three-course dinner with:

  • Non-alcoholic beverage (coffee, tea, soda, or water)
  • House salad with balsamic or ranch dressing
  • Choice of entrée *
  • Dessert (chef’s choice)
  • …plus the show, taxes, fees, and 18% gratuity for your server (although you are encouraged to leave additional gratuity for excellent service!)

Alcoholic beverages (usually including thematic “signature cocktails”) and appetizers are not included in your ticket price but may be purchased separately from your Bristol server at cost.

The full Bristol menu is not available during WhoDunnit shows.

* NOTE: Entrée must be pre-selected from designated choices during ticket purchase. WhoDunnit ticket packages include select entrée options from the Bristol menu, as indicated on the show information page and during ticket purchase. We try to honor special requests for dietary restrictions whenever possible, and will alert you if there is no option that meets your needs. Please note the full menu is NOT available during WhoDunnit shows.

Entrée selection varies from show to show, but WhoDunnit usually offers four choices with at least one vegetarian and at least one pescetarian option, with vegan* and gluten-free* options available upon special request. Please see the information page for the show you’re attending to learn more about the current available options.

Don’t see an entrée option that meets your diet? Let us know! Our reservation form includes a field where you can identify your dietary restrictions and specify any allergies* or other special meal requests. We always do our best to honor your requests. If, for any reason, the Bristol kitchen is unable to accommodate your dietary needs, we will reach out and let you know.

* NOTE: While we do relay your dietary restrictions to our partners at the Bristol, please do be advised that meal prep occurs in a common kitchen that uses common allergens, animal ingredients, gluten, etc. The Bristol is unable to guarantee that no cross-contamination will occur. Diners with allergies, food intolerances, or medical restrictions should exercise caution when ordering.

Meal selections must be finalized in advance of the show: the Bristol kitchen may be unable to honor special requests made during meal service.

If you need to update your entrée selection from what you chose at the time you purchased your tickets, please contact us: e-mail info@whodunnitky.com or text/call (502) 888-0050. We cannot guarantee last-minute changes can be made, but will do our best to assist you.

Yes. Entrée choices for our shows always have at least one ovo-lacto vegetarian* option, or a dish that is available vegetarian. We work with the Bristol to ensure that a vegan option is always available upon special request.

You also have the option to identify as vegan or vegetarian under the “dietary restrictions” section when making your reservation.

* NOTE: While we do relay your dietary restrictions to our partners at the Bristol, please do be advised that meal prep occurs in a common kitchen that uses animal ingredients. The Bristol is unable to guarantee that no cross-contamination will occur.

Any dish labelled “vegetarian” is declared by the Bristol to be free from meat, fish, seafood, or ingredients such as meat broth. However, WhoDunnit is unable to guarantee that any dishes meet a strict vegetarian diet with no animal byproducts (such as animal rennet in cheeses). Please contact the Bristol directly for questions regarding their ingredients.

Yes. While we may not list a natively gluten-free dish among the entrée choices, we work with the Bristol to ensure that a gluten-free* option is always available upon special request.

You also have the option to identify as gluten-free under the “dietary restrictions” section when making your reservation.

* NOTE: While we do relay your dietary restrictions to our partners at the Bristol, please do be advised that meal prep occurs in a common kitchen that uses gluten ingredients. We always do our best to honor allergies and dietary restrictions*. You have the option to identify your dietary needs and specify any allergies or other special meal requests under the “dietary restrictions” section when making your reservation. If, for any reason, the Bristol kitchen is unable to accommodate your request, we will reach out and let you know.

WhoDunnit’s team of mysterious mixologists works with our partners at the Bristol to suggest drinks* that pair well with our available entrée selections or complement the theme of the show. Ask your server for a signature cocktail menu!

The Bristol also offers a wide variety of wine, beer, spirits, and other mixed drinks* from their bar.

* NOTE: Alcoholic beverages are not included in your ticket price but may be purchased separately from your Bristol server at cost.
