We made a movie!
This summer marked WhoDunnit’s first (hopefully of many!) year participating in the Louisville, KY 48 Hour Film Project, a whirlwind weekend of talent, fun, effort, and more than a little chaos.
The 48 Hour Film Project is a global filmmaking challenge where teams write, shoot, and edit a short film in only 48 hours. No time to overthink. Just pure creativity, collaboration, and a race against the clock.
Each team draws a genre, and collectively all participants are assigned a prop, a line, and a character that must appear in every film, which may be between 4 to 7 minutes long. Our mandatory elements were as follows:
- Genre: Suspense/Thriller
- Character: Jade(n) Willamette, hotel employee
- Line: “You can’t make me”
- Prop: Measuring tape
Our short film, Belladonna, will be screened alongside the other Group A submissions at the public premiere this Saturday, July 25 at 6 PM at Actors Theater. Audience members will have the chance to vote for their favorite film, among other awards. We hope you’ll attend! Click the button above to purchase tickets.
In the meantime, please enjoy the video trailer, above. We’ll be sure to share the full film after it is cleared for public release!
WhoDunnit would like to thank our team members for their sacrifices of time, energy, and sleep over the course of the weekend to make this project possible:

- Faith Matthews Müller
- Tiger Rogers
- Lukas Gibson
- Beth Olliges
- Karen Wilson

- …and Pippin (the papillon pup) Vautard!
